FORMER IRELAND INTERNATIONAL Shane Duffy has signed a two-month deal to play with Derby County in the Championship.
Derryman Duffy, 34, had been without a club since his contract with Norwich City expired in June.
However, County are managed by John Eustace, who was Stephen Kenny’s assistant in 2022 with Ireland, and he took Duffy in for a trial period.
The 61-cap Ireland international has now taken up the temporary contract and is available to face Millwall this Saturday if selected.
The Rams are currently struggling, sitting second bottom in the Championship after just one win from their opening 12 games.
