Quiz: How much do you know about chefs on screen?

Put your knowledge to the test.

THE FIFTH SEASON of The Bear kicks off this week on Disney+. It’s the final season of the show, which absolutely captivated us when it began in 2022.

It introduced us to young chef Carmy, who took over his deceased brother’s Italian beef shop in Chicago and over the series turned the business into a fine-dining joint. There’s a lot of heart to The Bear, and a lot of action, humour and intensity too. We’ll be sad to see it go.

The Bear is one of a number of shows and films that explore the world of chefs and professional kitchens. So how many of them have you watched, and how much of an expert are you about this world on screen? Take our Best of the Box quiz to find out.
