Pressure mounts on Israel as EU to review trade and cooperation over Gaza aid blockade
Meanwhile, the UK government announced this afternoon that it will sanction West Bank settlers and suspend trade deal discussions with Israel.
Tánaiste Simon Harris said the EU's review reflects the "grave concerns" of member states.
Conor O'Neill of Christian Aid Ireland said the review is welcome but "it is not enough".
International pressure has been building on Israel following a months-long blockade of aid into Gaza that prompted famine warnings.

Nine aid trucks cleared to enter Gaza after 11-week blockade, but UN calls it 'drop in the ocean'
It comes as Israel announced plans to “take control” of the whole of Gaza as it intensified its campaign across the territory.
UN humanitarian chief Tom Fletcher said "significantly more aid must be allowed into Gaza, starting tomorrow morning."
Benjamin Netanyahu said that even supporters of Israel would not tolerate "images of mass starvation".
