unlawful agency fees
Fine Gael councillor co-owns company accused of charging migrant nurses unlawful ‘agency fees’
One nurse paid over €3,000 into another Fine Gael councillor’s account as part of the recruitment process.
Three nurses say they paid thousands of euro to the company co-owned by Baby Pereppadan, the recent mayor of South Dublin.
Charging these fees to jobseekers is unlawful and complaints have been made to gardaí and Indian police.
One nurse paid over €3,000 into the bank account of Baby's son Britto, who is also a Fine Gael councillor.
